My name is YR, I'm passionate about democratizing technology through inclusive design.

Hi, I'm YR — a strategic product designer passionate about democratizing technology through inclusive design. Born deaf and now a proud "cyborg" with cochlear implants, I bring a unique perspective to creating accessible, user-centric solutions.

With over a decade of experience at Meta, Hopper, WeWork and startups, I've had the privilege of working across diverse industries — from growing Meta's Chinese ad market by 600% to launching AI-powered travel assistants at Hopper. This blog is where I share perspectives from the trenches and spark conversations about design's evolving landscape.

While I explore various design topics, I'm currently focusing on three areas that fascinate me:
